B.79 SPEX Monochromators with SPEX232 interface

Module name: spex232

Description: Monochromators by SPEX controlled by the computer via the SPEX232 interface (i.e. 1249, 1403, 1404, 1680B, 1681B, 1701, 1702, 1703, 1704, 1870B, 1870C).

Controlled via: Serial port

Status: Tested

The state of the device (i.e. current wavelength setting, offset correction, setting of laser line, width of a pixel of an attached camera) are stored in a state file, in a normal installation this is `/usr/local/lib/fsc2/spex232.state'. In case this file has been deleted or has become garbled use the file `config/spex232.state' to replace it. Take care to set the permissions and ownership of the file correctly.

Supported functions:

`monochromator_name()'
`monochromator_wavelength()'
`monochromator_wavenumber()'
`monochromator_laser_line()'
`monochromator_scan_setup()'
`monochromator_start_scan()'
`monochromator_scan_step()'
`monochromator_wavelength_axis()'
`monochromator_wavenumber_axis()'
`monochromator_calibrate()'
`monochromator_wavenumber_scan_limits()'
`monochromator_wavelength_scan_limits()'
`monochromator_groove_density()'
`monochromator_init_motor()'
`monochromator_enforce_wavelength()'
`monochromator_enforce_wavenumber()'
