Magnetic Properties and NMR Investigations of the Hg-Based Cuprate Hg-1201
Magnetization measurements as well as NMR investigations are performed with
powder samples of the high - TC superconductor Hg-1201.
TC, Bc1 and the irreversibility line are determined.
In the irreversible region of the phase diagram Bc1(T) follows
the expected parabolic behaviour, resulting to Bc1(0) = 27 mT
for the optimally doped sample. 63Cu NMR spectra obtained using
a 14 T pulse spectrometer, allow to determine the shift anisotropies and
their temperature dependences. T1 data support a d-wave pairing
model.
